Canvas USA® wants every customer to be able to use our website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Many of the people we build for have been on the water for fifty years, and a website that is hard to read is a website that is not doing its job.
1) What we are working toward
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our reference standard. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box that gets ticked once, and we review it as we build and change pages.

• Text sized and spaced to stay readable, with high contrast against light backgrounds
• Meaningful alternative text on product and instructional images
• Pages that work with a keyboard as well as a mouse
• Forms with clear labels, and errors explained in words
• Headings and structure that a screen reader can follow in order

3) Where we know we fall short
Parts of our website use third-party tools and content we do not control, including embedded maps, payment pages, and product data supplied by manufacturers. We cannot guarantee those meet the same standard, and we work with those providers where we can.
Older pages and older product images may not yet carry full alternative text. We are working through them.
4) Tell us — and we will help you directly
If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact us and we will fix it or work around it. If a page is in your way, we will take your order over the phone and read you anything on the site.
