Shade when you need it. Out of the way when you don't. The Bimini T mounts on your console and reaches aft over the helm, on a frame that folds forward and drops out of your line of sight. It stays up while you run at reasonable speed, and comes off the boat entirely when you want the deck back.

You should not have to keep raising and lowering your shade. It is designed to stay up as you captain your boat at reasonable speed, and on most boats your rod holders still work, whether they sit on the side of the console or behind your helm seats.
Folds Away When You Need The Space
Extend it all the way forward or all the way back on most models, drop it out of your line of sight, or take it off the boat entirely. The storage boot wraps over the top when it is stowed.
Built for salt air
An aluminum frame, a choice of nylon or 316 stainless fittings, marine-grade acrylic canvas and webbing retainers that help hold the frame steady. The parts you only notice when they are done badly.

How to measure
Measure the overall width of the area where the shade will mount — your center console at its widest point. Include anything that protrudes: if your rod holders stick out further than the console, measure to the rod holders; if a grab bar sticks out further, measure to the grab bar. Send us a photo with your measurement and we will confirm the dimensions before anything is cut.

It is built to your boat. We carry 205 boat makes, and you give us the model and year when you order. For the width, measure your center console at its widest point and include anything that sticks out — rod holders or a grab bar. If you are not sure, select Contact Canvas USA® for Measuring Assistance and a Canvas USA® specialist will confirm it with you before anything is cut.
On the water, yes — it is designed to stay up while you captain the boat at a reasonable speed, with the straps tight and the top fully fastened. Never tow with it deployed. It is not built to take highway speeds, so fold it down and fit the storage boot before the boat goes on the trailer.
On most boats, no. Rod holders stay usable whether they sit on the side of your console or behind your helm seats.
Reach. The 700 Series projects 6 feet 8 inches; the 800 Series projects 8 feet.
Both are offered. Stainless is 316 marine grade. Nylon is the lighter, lower-cost option.
Yes. It arrives complete and ready to install, with a full guide. If you would rather we fit it, installation is available.
Unhook the back straps, pull the pins and slide the uprights down out of your line of sight. The storage boot wraps over the top.
