Rinse with fresh water after every outing, wash with a gentle marine soap and a soft cotton cloth or wash mitt, rinse, and dry with a chamois or clean microfiber cloth, never a paper towel. A protective polish every one to two months is the single most effective thing you can do for clear vinyl. Handle panels by their binding with clean hands: sunscreen permanently clouds clear vinyl wherever you touch it. Polish keeps clarity; it cannot restore vinyl that is already hazed or scratched.
