    Materials & Construction

This kit centers on the Shurhold Dual Action Polisher, a corded orbital buffer paired with a foam polish pad, liquid wax sealant & polish, and a microfiber towel, giving boat owners a single-purchase system to cut oxidation and buff surfaces to a glossy, protected finish.

    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Pro results in your driveway. The dual action oscillating head helps prevent burn and swirl marks, so a first-timer can buff, wax and polish with confidence.
    • Less time, less effort. Shurhold says routine waxing takes about half the time, with half the effort. That leaves more of your Saturday for the water.
    • Ready to go, and easy to put away. The Quick Charge backing plate makes pad changes fast and secure. A wrench, a carbon brush and the manual come along, and it all packs into a heavy duty carrying bag.
    • A holiday gift they will use. With the holidays coming, this is a gift for the person who keeps a boat, car or RV looking sharp. The bonus pack inside means they can start right away.

    What it is

This is the start kit for Shurhold's Dual Action Polisher, a corded buffer on a 20-foot GFCI power cord (a cord with a safety switch that cuts power if it senses a fault). A bonus pack inside adds a liquid wax sealant and polish, a polish pad and a microfiber towel. It suits boats, cars and RVs.

    How to use it

    1. Fit the polish pad onto the Quick Charge backing plate.
    2. Put a moderate dab of the wax sealant and polish on the pad.
    3. Run the polisher across the surface in passes that overlap.
    4. Buff off what is left with the microfiber towel to bring up the shine.
    5. Check the manual in the box for full operating steps.
    6. When you finish, rinse the pad and towel, let them air-dry and store the polisher in its bag.

    What else the job needs

Wash and dry the surface first with a good boat soap. Extra polish pads and microfiber towels help on a big hull, and a wax made for gel coat keeps the shine going.
