    This Sea-Dog boat hook is a one-piece marine grade aluminum pole with a comfort grip handle and a soft, rubber-coated hook end, designed to fend off docks and retrieve gear without scratching your boat's finish.

    The Sea-Dog 4-foot boat hook is a one-piece pole made by Sea-Dog. Its tubing is marine grade aluminum, and it has a comfort grip handle. The hook end has four points, each with a soft rubber coating.

    How to use it

    1. Hold the rubber-coated hook end to push off from docks and pilings.
    2. Use the same end to pull lines, fenders and other gear out of the water.
    3. Remove the bright orange tip at the threaded end, then attach a Sea-Dog or universal/Acme-thread accessory.
    4. After each use, rinse it with fresh water, then let it dry before storing it.
