Expiration and Fees

A Canvas USA® Gift Card expires five years after the date it is issued. If value is added later, the five years runs from the date value was last added. The expiration date is shown before you pay and repeated in your order confirmation.

There are no fees — no activation fee, no monthly or annual service fee, no dormancy or inactivity fee, and no charge to replace a lost or damaged card.

Gift cards issued before October 1, 2026 do not expire. Those cards keep the terms they were bought under.

Amounts and Purchase Limits

Canvas USA® sets these limits to protect customers and to keep gift cards out of the hands of fraud:

• Maximum per card: $2,000. No single gift card is issued above this amount.
• Maximum per order: $5,000 across any number of cards.
• Maximum $10,000 of gift cards to one person in any one day, across every order and every channel.

Orders over $2,000 in gift cards require verification before the cards are issued — we confirm the billing address matches the payment method, and we may ask a first-time buyer to verify identity. Orders we cannot verify are canceled and refunded.

We do not accept cash for gift cards above $2,000, and we may decline any gift card order at our discretion. Orders that appear suspicious may be delayed, held for review, canceled, or refunded.

Need More Than $5,000?

Call 888-341-1234 and we will set it up properly. Above $5,000 a gift card is the wrong tool. We put the money on your account as Canvas USA® credit, or take it as a deposit against the work itself — both are traceable to you, neither can be lost or passed on, and both apply to any order you place. This is how we handle corporate, dealer and large custom prepayment.

Gift Card Terms

Gift cards are redeemable online and at a Canvas USA® counter, and are not redeemable for cash except where state law requires it. Treat a gift card like cash — we can only replace a lost or stolen card if you have the card number or the original purchase record. A gift card itself cannot be returned or refunded once issued; where an order paid with a gift card is refunded, the refund goes back to the gift card.
