    Materials & Construction

This is a bleach-free liquid cleaning solution that dissolves bird and spider droppings on contact, restoring the appearance of fiberglass, painted surfaces, and fabric without hard scrubbing.

    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Droppings dissolve on contact. Spray the bird and spider droppings and they start to dissolve right away. You do not have to scrub hard to get them off.
    • Bleach-free, for many surfaces. The formula is bleach-free. It is made for fiberglass, painted surfaces, and fabrics on boats and in outdoor areas.
    • Clean up this fall, before winter. Spray it on, let it sit for 30 to 45 seconds, then brush gently and rinse with fresh water. It is a good fall job for the boat.

    What it is

The Star brite Spider & Bird Stain Remover is a bleach-free cleaning solution made by Star brite. It comes in a 22 oz bottle and is made to dissolve bird and spider droppings on boats and in outdoor areas.

    How to use it

    1. Spray the spray directly onto the droppings until they are soaked.
    2. Let the spray soak in for 30 to 45 seconds.
    3. Gently scrub with a boating brush.
    4. Rinse well with fresh water.
    5. For stubborn or sun-baked droppings, apply it a second time.
    6. Before you start, test it on an inconspicuous area to check its effect on color.

    What else the job needs

Good to have on hand: a boating brush, which the directions call for, and fresh water to rinse. No additional items are specified in the product description.
