Materials & Construction
This is a commercial-grade, concentrated liquid cleaning formula infused with a fresh pine scent, packaged in a 32 oz bottle.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Works on grime, oil and fuel. This cleaner is concentrated and commercial-grade, a formula made for powerful cleaning. It is made for the hard-to-reach bilge areas where grime and fuel can build up.
- Fast-acting for quick cleanup. Pour it in and leave it for at least one hour while you run the boat as you normally would. The motion of the boat does the work.
- Leaves a fresh pine scent. After cleaning, the bilge is left with a fresh pine smell.
- Build it into your fall boat care. The label says to use it once a month, or as often as needed, so a fall clean-up can start a regular routine.
What it is
Star brite's pine bilge cleaner comes in a 32 oz bottle as a concentrated liquid, with a fresh pine scent. Star brite is the maker. The label includes a California Proposition 65 warning, which says the product can expose you to chemicals the state links to cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.
How to use it
- For a boat up to 30 feet, use 16 fluid ounces. For other boat sizes, scale the amount to the size of the boat.
- Pour it straight into the bilge. For a dry bilge, start with several gallons of water.
- Keep it in the bilge at least one hour while you run the boat as usual.
- When you are done, drain or pump the bilge out, following local, state and federal rules.
- Use it once a month, or more often if needed.
