Why you'll want it
- Lifts rust and common stains. It removes rust, dried fish blood, and leaf stains from your boat hull.
- Works on the hull materials you have. It works on fiberglass, plastic, and painted boat hulls.
- Simple wipe-on, rinse-off steps. Apply it with a sponge or sprayer, let it sit for 2 minutes, then rinse with fresh water. Heavy stains may need a second pass and light scrubbing.
- Clean the hull before winter or spring. In fall, clean the hull before winter storage or spring launch. Apply it when the temperature is above 50°F.
What it is
Star brite Instant Hull Cleaner is a 1-gallon liquid hull cleaner made by Star brite. It is a wipe-on, rinse-off formula with an oxalic acid base, made for fiberglass, plastic, and painted boat hulls.
How to use it
- Shake well.
- Apply with a sponge or sprayer. Rubber gloves are recommended.
- Let it stay on the surface for 2 minutes.
- Rinse with fresh water.
- For severely stained or dirty surfaces, apply a second time and scrub lightly.
- To shine and protect the newly cleaned hull, apply Star brite Premium Marine Polish.
