What it is

This is a case of 12 Kroil Original Penetrant aerosol cans, 10 oz each, in the Aerokroil formula. A penetrant is an oil made to soak into rusted joints and loosen them. Aerokroil is the spray-can form of Kroil.

How to use it

1. Spray it straight onto the stuck or corroded part.
2. Give it time to soak in.
3. Then try to loosen the part.

What else the job needs

Once the part is free, replace worn fasteners and coat bare metal with a corrosion protectant. Wrenches, a wire brush and shop rags round out the kit.
