Materials & Construction
303 Marine Fabric Guard is a fabric treatment spray that restores lost water repellency and shields marine fabric against oil- and water-based stains, keeping canvas looking newer, longer.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Water beads up on your canvas again. Spray it on clean, dry fabric and it brings back the water beading your fabric has lost. Your cover sheds the rain instead of holding it.
- A shield against spills and grime. It guards the cloth against both oily stains and water stains. Messes are easier to deal with before they set.
- Your fabric looks and feels the same. The maker says it does not change the color, the feel or the way the cloth breathes. It is safe on synthetic and natural fibers.
- Treat covers before winter storage. Fall is when the covers go on for the long sit. A fresh coat now helps them shed winter rain while the boat waits for spring.
What it is
This is a case of six 16oz bottles of 303 Marine Fabric Guard, a fabric protector spray from 303. It is made for boat covers, awnings, outdoor fabric cushions and Dacron sails (a common sailcloth). A leading outdoor fabric maker recommends it.
How to use it
- Clean the fabric and let it dry all the way.
- Spray the guard onto the clean, dry fabric.
What else the job needs
Good to have on hand: a cleaner for the fabric, since the spray goes only on clean, dry cloth.
