Materials & Construction
This is a horizontal-mount washdown hose enclosure that houses a coiled 5' hose so you can rinse off your boat, deck, or spa without dragging out a bulky standard hose. Its durable ABS housing and brass fittings keep the hose protected and ready to use, while the added feeder hose lets you tap into an outside spigot when a plumbed connection isn't available.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- No more hauling out a long hose. The coiled hose lives in its own housing, so it is right there when you need it. Pull it out, rinse, and tuck it back in.
- Gentle on your gel coat. The brass nozzle has a rubber grip and a rubber tip. That tip helps protect fiberglass if the nozzle bumps the boat.
- Two ways to hook it up. Plumb it into your boat's pressure water system, or to a raw water pump for washdown. No plumbing nearby? The extra 5' feeder hose runs to an outside spigot.
- Fit it over the winter. Winter storage is a calm time to add plumbing. Mount it now and the hose is ready for the first spring trip.
What it is
This is a horizontal mount washdown enclosure from HoseCoil, with a 5' feeder hose added. The housing is high density ABS, a tough rigid plastic, with a glossy coating that helps resist UV (sun) damage. Inside is a solid blue 5' HoseCoil hose made of polyether, with solid brass fittings and an adjustable brass nozzle.
How to use it
- Mount the enclosure horizontally where you want the hose.
- Plumb it into the pressurized water system, or into a raw water pump used for washdown.
- No plumbed line? Use the feeder hose to connect to an outside spigot instead.
What else the job needs
Pairs well with a boat soap and a soft brush for washing down the hull.
