Materials & Construction
This is a soft-bristle deck brush with split-end fibers mounted on a 48-inch threaded wooden handle, designed to hold more soap and water so it cleans gelcoat, fiberglass, and painted surfaces gently and effectively.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Gentle on gelcoat and paint. The soft bristles are made for gelcoat, fiberglass and painted surfaces, so your finish gets a gentle wash.
- Holds more soap and water. The split ends of the fibers carry extra soap and water for washing.
- Reach hulls without a pole. The 48-inch handle lets you reach hulls and decks without a separate extension pole.
- Stow it under the gunnel this fall. As you get the boat ready for fall and winter storage, the handle fits under-gunnel storage, so the brush stays with the boat.
What it is
The Shurhold Marine Mate Brush with Handle (Soft) is a deck brush made by Shurhold. It has a 6-inch (15 cm) soft brush head on a 48-inch (122 cm) threaded wooden handle. The bristles are soft, and their split ends carry extra soap and water.
How to use it
- Fit the brush head onto the threaded wood handle.
- Dip the brush in soapy water.
- Scrub gelcoat, fiberglass or painted surfaces gently with the soft split-end fibers.
