    Materials & Construction

This is a 14 inch silicone water blade designed to squeegee water off boats, cars, and other surfaces in one quick pass, eliminating the need for towels or a chamois.

    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Dries in one pass. The T-Bar edge pulls standing water off in a single sweep. Towels and chamois are not needed.
    • Kind to your finish. The soft silicone edge is listed as safe on paint, fiberglass, windows and enclosures.
    • Less work than towels. Drying takes 1/3 the time that towels need, and it creates 15 times less friction than towels do.
    • A quick dry this fall. Fall is a good time to dry the boat before winter storage. A fast dry helps protect your investment.

    What it is

This 14 inch blade from Swobbit is the Quick Dry Water Blade. Its edge is silicone, which the product text calls medical grade. It is sold as an individual piece and works on boats, cars, RVs and other surfaces.

    How to use it

    1. Pull the blade slowly over the wet area in one smooth stroke.
    2. Keep going over bigger areas until nothing is left wet.
    3. After each use, run clean water over the blade.
    4. Dry it off before you put it away.

    What else the job needs

Good to have on hand: the Quick Dry Uni-Snap adapter, which the product text says can be used with this blade to dry hard to reach areas.
