    This finishing pad is made from black foam constructed with CCS Technology, a strategic pattern of partially closed foam cells that limits how quickly polish is absorbed into the pad.

    Why you'll want it

    • Built for the final shine. Black foam is made for final refinement. It can take out light haze left by earlier steps and bring the surface to a gloss. It can also remove very light swirls on soft paint.
    • Polish releases slowly. Partly closed foam cells in a planned layout let polish out a little at a time. Less of it soaks deep into the pad, so more stays where you work.
    • Helps the pad lie flat. The cell pockets reduce surface tension, so you can run the pad flat on the surface. This helps prevent skipping as you work.
    • Fall is a good time for a final shine. This is a finishing pad, so it fits the last step of a polish done before winter. Use it with an extra fine finishing polish.
