    This is a single-layer, center-ventilated foam finishing pad designed for random orbital DA polishers, built to release heat during polishing and reduce the risk of surface damage.

    Why you'll want it

    • Helps keep heat away from your paint. The center hole is a channel that releases heat from the foam and lowers the surface temperature. Cooler surfaces can lower the chance of harming your paint.
    • Brings light swirls to a glossy finish. Black foam is made for final refinement and very light swirls on soft paint. Use it with an extra fine finishing polish.
    • Tapered edge for curves and tight spots. The tapered edge keeps the pad from rolling and lets it rotate well. It suits curved surfaces and tight areas.
    • A good fall job before winter storage. Fall is a good time to polish before winter storage, so your boat is ready when spring comes. The 2-pack means a spare pad is on hand.

    The Lake Country SDO Black Finishing Polishing Pad is a foam pad for polishing, sold as a 2-pack. Each pad is 3.5-inch across and 7/8-inch thick, and it is made to fit a 3-inch backing plate.
