This kit is a plastic and acrylic restoration system that removes oxidation, scuffs, and stains to restore clarity and shine to surfaces like headlights, hatches, and eisenglass.

Why you'll want it
- Cloudy plastic, clear again. It takes oxidation, scuffs and hard water stains off plastic and acrylic. Think hatches, bug shields, headlights and eisenglass (clear window panels).
- Metal and paint, too. Use it on chrome and aluminum wheels, stainless truck boxes, diamond plate and RV or trailer trim. It also details fiberglass, gelcoat and painted finishes.
- The whole job in one box. A metal pre-clean, a quart of polish paste and a sealant cover each stage. Four buffing balls, two fine discs and two microfiber cloths complete the set.
- Shine it up before winter storage. Fall haul-out is a good time to clear the haze off hatches and windows. Seal them before the cover goes on, and spring starts with a cleaner boat.
What it is
The Detailers Choice Kit is a boxed polishing set made by Flitz. It holds Flitz Polish-Paste in a quart can, Metal PreClean in a 16 oz bottle, an 8 oz sealant, and buffing balls in 2, 3, 5 and 7 inch sizes. The two abrasive discs are 1000 grit, a very fine grade (grit tells you how coarse a sanding surface is).
What else the job needs
Wash the surface with soapy water first, and keep gloves and extra cloths on hand for big jobs. A good cover keeps the finish clean once you are done.
