What it is

Collinite 870 Marine Fiberglass Fleetwax is a single-step liquid wax and cleaner from Collinite, sold in a 16 oz size. It cleans fiberglass and leaves a protective coating behind. It is made for larger fleet work and for full boat detailing.

How to use it

1. Put a nickel-sized amount of product on an applicator pad.
2. Rub it in over a section no bigger than 2 x 2 ft, with firm pressure, until just before it starts to dry.
3. Buff off with a microfiber towel for a sharper, darker, more reflective shine.
4. For a buffer, place 5 small pea-sized dots on the pad. Do not over-saturate the pad.
5. Work a section no bigger than 2 x 2 ft with firm pressure for 2-3 passes, then make 2-3 more passes with less pressure at a lower speed.
6. Buff until just before the product dries. Never dry buff.
7. Wipe off the residue to reveal a clean, glossy finish.

Good to have on hand: applicator pads and microfiber towels for hand work. Pairs well with a buffer for machine use.
