Materials & Construction
This is a soft microfiber polishing cloth designed to lift dust, grease, oil, wax, and grime from painted and polished surfaces, leaving a clean, streak-free finish.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Leaves surfaces free of streaks. Use it to end a wash or polish, and the finish comes out free of streaks. You can work it damp or dry, so it fits the task at hand.
- Lifts grime without scratching. The soft weave picks up dust and fingerprints, and the description says it does this without scratching. It also cuts through grease, oil, polish and wax buildup.
- Built to be washed again and again. The description says it can be washed up to 500 times. Cold water and like colors keep it in good shape, and leaving out fabric softener helps it stay absorbent.
- Ready for the fall wash before storage. As fall arrives, this cloth can help with the final wash and polish before winter storage. Use it to finish the job before the boat goes under cover.
What it is
The Flitz Microfiber Polishing Cloth is a grey cloth, 16 in. by 16 in., made by Flitz. The product description says it is built on Starfiber microfiber technology. You get one cloth in a protective bag, and the record says it works on any surface.
How to use it
- Start dry to dust and buff, or dampen it a little for stubborn grease, wax or tar.
- Move with gentle strokes, in circles or in straight lines.
- Finish with a dry section of the cloth for a last polish.
- When you apply or remove wax, keep the cloth dry.
