    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Precision grain cuts quickly. SEM says its precision grain technology helps the roll cut quickly, last longer and leave an even finish across all substrates.
    • Paper that tears easily. The paper tears easily, so you can cut off just the piece your job calls for.
    • Ceramic grain on a long roll. Each roll is 2.75 inches across and runs 40 yards, with 240 grit ceramic grain on C-weight paper.
    • Fall is the time to finish sanding. Fall haul-out and winter storage are here. Sanding now means the surface work is done over the winter, so the boat is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

This is 240 grit ceramic sandpaper on a roll, 2.75 inches across and 40 yards long, made by SEM. The SEM manufacturer part number is SA22240. The paper uses ceramic grain on C-weight paper.

    How to use it

    1. Begin with the gentlest grit that gets the job done.
    2. Move through the grits in order, since a skipped grit can leave scratches the next one may not remove.
    3. Tear the paper to the length you need.

    What else the job needs

Pairs well with finer or coarser sandpaper grits when you step through stages. The product description does not list any other items this job needs.
