    What it is

    The Lake Country SDO Black Finishing Polishing Pad is a foam pad made by Lake Country. SDO stands for Standard Duty Orbital. It uses the same foam as the HDO line, without the dual-layer build, and measures 5.5 by 7/8 inches.

    How to use it

    1. Attach the pad to a random orbital DA polisher with a center ventilated backing plate.
    2. Line up the pad's center hole with the plate's ventilation channel so heat can leave during use.
    3. Use with an extra fine finishing polish.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: low lint wool heavy cutting pads made of knitted prewashed lambswool, which the product description says pair with this SDO system. Pairs well with an extra fine finishing polish.
