    Why you'll want it

    • Strong cut for heavy defects. This is the most aggressive pad in the SMARTFIX double-sided foam range. It is made to remove serious flaws and sanding marks quickly.
    • Waffle face keeps the pad cooler. The waffle pattern cuts down how much of the pad touches the paint at once. That helps the pad run at cooler temperatures and can help protect the finish from overheating.
    • Steady spin while you work. The waffle face gives strong rotational stability, so the pad holds steady on the polisher as you work.
    • Fix paint before winter storage. Fall is a good time to correct sanding marks and imperfections before winter storage, so the paint is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

    The RUPES SMARTFIX Double-Sided Coarse Foam Pad is a 180mm blue foam pad made by RUPES. It is the most aggressive pad in the SMARTFIX Double-Sided foam range and has a waffle face design.

    How to use it

    1. Clean the pad after each use to remove compound residue.
    2. Let the pad air dry fully before you store it, to help keep its cutting performance.
