    This is a Velcro-faced backing pad that threads directly onto RUPES LH Series rotary polishers via a 5/8" female thread, giving polishing pads a firm, secure attachment point for consistent results.

    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Pads press on and stay put. The Velcro hook-and-loop face holds your polishing pad in place. Press the pad on until it sits flush and secure.
    • Threads onto your RUPES LH Series polisher. The 5/8" female thread screws onto the 5/8" male spindle of a RUPES LH Series rotary polisher, so it mounts directly.
    • A 6 inch backing pad. The backing pad measures 150mm (6 inches) across, so you know its size before you buy.
    • Ready for fall polishing before storage. Fall is a good time to polish your boat before winter storage. Keep this pad with your polisher so it is ready when you are.

    What it is

    This is a 150mm (6 inch) backing pad made by RUPES. A backing pad is the part that holds a polishing pad and attaches to the polisher. It has a Velcro hook-and-loop face and a 5/8" female thread.

    How to use it

    1. Thread the backing pad onto the 5/8" male spindle of your RUPES LH Series rotary polisher.
    2. Press your chosen polishing pad onto the Velcro face until it sits flush and secure.
    3. Do this before you operate the tool.
