    This brush head is made with Starprene, a lightweight polymer fiber that resists stains, chemicals, and heat up to 200F, breaking down heavy dirt for a thorough clean without damaging surfaces.

    Why you'll want it

    • Fits the handle you already have. The head fits standard 3/4" threaded poles, West Marine quick-release poles, and Star brite telescoping Extend-A-Brush handles.
    • Aimed at heavy dirt and stains. The soft yellow grade suits non-skid and textured surfaces on boats, decks and outdoor furniture.
    • A rubber bumper guards against scuffs. The thick wrap-around bumper is meant to keep scuff marks off painted and gelcoat surfaces while you scrub.
    • Clean up before fall haul-out and winter storage. Rinse the brush in fresh water after each use. Starprene is built to resist mildew and odors, so the brush is ready for the next wash before winter storage.

    What it is

    Star brite makes this 8" brush head, which uses Starprene, a polymer fiber, for its bristles. A thick rubber bumper wraps around the head. This is the soft yellow grade; Medium (blue) and Heavy Duty (white) grades are also offered.

    How to use it

    1. Attach the head to a compatible pole or handle by threading or clicking it on.
    2. Work the Starprene bristles over hulls, decks, non-skid areas and outdoor furniture.
    3. After each use, rinse the head in fresh water to wash away soap and grime.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: a compatible pole or handle, such as a standard 3/4" threaded pole, a West Marine quick-release pole, or a Star brite telescoping Extend-A-Brush handle.
