Materials & Construction
The Xanigo Marine Ultimate Vinyl Boat Seat Care Kit is a multi-step treatment system that removes existing mold and mildew from vinyl boat seats and other high-moisture surfaces while helping prevent it from returning.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Lift the spots you see now. Spray the stain remover on, give it 60 to 90 seconds, then work it in with a stiff brush. It pulls the growth out of the pores so you can rinse it away.
- One kit for the whole boat. It is not only for seats. Use it on life jackets, bumpers, carpet, canvas and any spot aboard that stays damp.
- A quick wipe after each trip. The waterless wash takes off grime and sunscreen with a microfiber towel. Each wipe also adds to the protective layer the preventer leaves behind.
- Treat the seats before winter. Fall haul-out is the time to clean and treat, before the boat sits closed up for the winter. One coat of the preventer protects for up to 90 days.
What it is
The Ultimate Vinyl Boat Seat Care Kit is made by Xanigo Marine. You get three sprays: a 16 oz mold and mildew stain remover, a 32 oz mold and mildew preventer and a 32 oz waterless wash. Used in order, they clean the seat, neutralize the remover (so its chemicals are done working), protect the surface and keep it fresh.
How to use it
- Remove: Work out of direct sun. Spray the remover on the spot, wait 60 to 90 seconds, scrub with a stiff brush and rinse well with fresh water. Repeat if needed.
- Neutralize: Spray on the waterless wash and wipe it in with a microfiber cloth. This gets the seat ready for the preventer.
- Prevent: Make sure the seat is clean and dry. Spray on the preventer and spread it out evenly with a microfiber towel.
- Maintain: After each outing, spray the waterless wash and wipe the seat down with a microfiber towel.
What else the job needs
Keep a stiff brush, a stack of microfiber towels and a hose with fresh water close by. A fitted seat or boat cover is worth a look for the months the boat sits.
