    Constructed from small, open-cell orange foam with a hook-and-loop backing, this pad keeps polishing compound near the surface for efficient medium-cut performance.

    Why you'll want it

    • Removes sand scratches, leaves a gloss. This pad has a medium-level cut that works on sand scratches up to P2500. It still finishes to a nice gloss.
    • Small open cells hold the compound. The small open cells keep the compound close to the surface where the work happens.
    • Quick to rinse and reuse. The open-cell foam rinses out easily. Rinse it between uses and the pad can be used again.
    • Fall is the time to prep for winter. Fall is a good time to polish your boat before winter storage. The pad is made for gelcoat, paint, and other marine surfaces.

    What it is

    The Presta PACE™ Orange Foam Medium Cut Pad is a 3-inch orange foam polishing pad from Presta, the maker. It has a hook-and-loop backing, so you can change pads quickly. It comes in a 4-pack and is designed to work with PACE™ Medium Cut Compound.

    How to use it

    1. Attach the pad to your polisher using the hook-and-loop backing.
    2. Apply PACE™ Medium Cut Compound to the pad.
    3. Rinse the compound residue out of the open-cell foam between uses so the pad can be reused.
