Why you'll want it
- Water rolls off the glass. The hydrophobic formula repels water on contact. Your glass stays clearer between washes.
- Less salt and mineral buildup. Glasstec helps keep salt, calcium and other mineral deposits from sticking to the glass. That makes cleanups easier.
- Shields glass from UV damage. It gives UV protection to help keep the glass clear over time.
- Protect glass before the cold months. Fall is a good time to coat your glass before the cold weather. The record says it protects for up to one year, but wiper areas wear it down faster.
What it is
DiTEC Glasstec is a clear liquid glass coating made by DiTEC Marine Products. It is a hydrophobic coating that repels water on contact. You can use it on glass, plastic, fiberglass, ceramic, paint and other hard or semi-hard surfaces.
How to use it
- Clean the glass first with DiTEC Crystal Clear. Do not use a household glass cleaner before you apply Glasstec.
- Apply Glasstec with a microfiber applicator pad.
- After Glasstec is applied, you may clean the glass with Crystal Clear or a household glass cleaner.
