Materials & Construction
Corrosion Block is a clean synthetic fluid built on polar bonding chemistry that fully penetrates corrosion cells, displacing trapped saltwater and leaving behind a clear, non-waxy hydrophobic film on metal surfaces.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Gets into the tight spots. It soaks deep into joints, connectors and the spaces around fasteners. There it takes the place of the salt water, and the water dries away.
- No waxy mess left behind. Unlike waxy coatings, it leaves a clean, clear film that sheds water. That makes it a good fit for switches, fuse panels and battery terminals.
- Non-toxic and non-flammable. The formula is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-hazmat, and the can's propellant is non-flammable too. That makes it easy to keep on the boat, in the truck or in the shop.
- Coat it all before winter layup. Before your boat sits for the off-season, spray the battery terminals, running lights and connectors. With a case of 12, you can keep a can aboard, one in the truck and one in the shop.
What it is
Corrosion Block is a clean synthetic fluid that guards metal and electronics. It protects metal using advanced polar bonding chemistry, and it leaves a hydrophobic (water-shedding) film. Crews use it on electrical and mechanical gear in places where safety comes first, such as mines and power plants. This listing is a case of 12 aerosol cans, 12 oz each.
How to use it
- Spray into joints, connectors and around fasteners.
- Let the fluid soak in and push out the salt water so it can dry away.
- Leave the clear film in place to keep guarding the metal.
What else the job needs
A wire brush and clean rags help you prep crusted terminals first. For bright metal, add a metal cleaner and a polish.
