Materials & Construction
This is a marine-grade metal polish formulated to clean and protect chrome, stainless steel, brass, copper, and tin surfaces, leaving a lasting shine while resisting salt and water spray.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- A shine without hard rubbing. Wipe the polish on, then wipe it off. You do not need to buff it hard.
- Guards metal against salt and rust. The polish sets a protective layer on chrome, stainless, copper, brass and tin. That layer helps guard against pitting and salt deposits, plus discoloration, rust and corrosion.
- Protection that lasts longer. The polish bonds to metal surfaces, so you reapply it less often.
- Before haul-out and winter storage. Polish the chrome and stainless before the boat goes into winter storage. The product is made to resist spray from salt and water.
What it is
Star brite Chrome & Stainless Polish is an 8 oz bottle of marine-grade metal polish from Star brite. It cleans and polishes chrome, stainless steel, copper, brass and tin in a single step. The product description includes a California Prop 65 warning that the product can expose you to chemicals the state lists for cancer and reproductive harm.
How to use it
- Shake well before use.
- Make sure the metal is dry.
- Use a clean, dry cloth and rub off surface rust, dirt and grime.
