    The Shurhold Dual Action Polisher is a variable-speed, dual-action power tool that swaps between 5.5-6.5 inch pads on a quick-change backing plate to deliver swirl-free polishing and buffing results on boats, RVs, and automotive finishes.

    Why you'll want it

    • Made for first-timers. Shurhold designed it so a beginner can reach a high-gloss, professional finish. It also won an NMMA innovation award.
    • Helps you avoid swirl marks. A standard rotary polisher can burn the finish or leave swirls. This head moves in a random orbit (a wobbling, circular path), so it is gentler on your shine.
    • Control in your hands. Dial the speed from 2,500 to 6,500 OPM (orbits per minute). Hold it by the D handle or the standard handle, whichever grip feels right.
    • Polish over the off-season. Winter is the season for boat projects. Polish while the boat rests, and it shines on launch day in spring.

    What it is

    The Shurhold Dual Action Polisher is an electric polisher for boats, RVs and cars. It runs on 120V AC, draws 4.2 amps and has a 500W motor. Its 5 inch quick-change backing plate (the disc your pad sticks to) takes 5.5 to 6.5 inch pads, and it has a 20 foot cord.

    What else the job needs

    Pick up polishing pads in the 5.5 to 6.5 inch range, plus the compound, polish or wax your finish needs. Keep microfiber towels close to wipe off what is left.
