    What it is

    This is the Sea-Dog Aluminum Boat Hook, an 8-foot, two-piece boat hook made by Sea-Dog. Its shaft is marine grade aluminum tubing, with a comfort grip handle and a threaded end for attachments. The bright orange rubber tip is easy to see, and it comes off so you can fit other accessories.

    How to use it

    1. Join the two halves of the aluminum shaft.
    2. Screw the rubber hook tip onto the threaded end, or fit another compatible accessory.
    3. Hold the comfort grip handle to fend off, retrieve lines, or reach overboard.
