    Ultra Cutting Creme is a heavy-cutting rubbing compound formulated with diminishing abrasives that break down during use, removing deep scratches and oxidation while leaving a polished, swirl-free finish.

    Why you'll want it

    • Takes the flaw off, not just hides it. It removes the damage from the surface instead of filling it in. There are no fillers, waxes or silicones in it.
    • Cuts hard, then finishes softer. Its abrasives start strong enough to take out 1200-grit sanding marks. As you buff, they wear down and help polish away swirls.
    • One compound for boat and car. Use it on gelcoat, marine paint and car finishes. It is water based, so cleanup is easy.
    • Do it while the boat is out. Fall haul-out puts the whole hull within reach. Cut out the oxidation over the winter, and the boat is ready to shine in spring.

    Presta Ultra Cutting Creme is a cutting compound from Presta, made to remove medium to heavy scratches, oxidation and weathering. This case holds twelve 32oz bottles. It is designed for use with a high-speed, rotary buffer.

    How to use it

    1. Work it with a high-speed rotary buffer. The maker suggests its black wool cutting pad.
    2. Keep buffing as the abrasives wear down to help polish out swirls.
    3. Follow with Presta Ultra Polish to maximize gloss and shine.
    4. Clean up with water.
