Why you'll want it
- Removes fine sanding scratches. It takes out 2000-grit and finer sand scratches on any painted surface, so the paint looks smooth again.
- Gentler than the regular compound. It is not as strong as the regular Ultra Cutting Creme, so it fits light damage and swirls.
- Works on new and cured paint. Use it on paint that was just applied, or on paint that has fully cured.
- A gallon for fall detailing jobs. Fall is a good time to correct the finish before winter storage. The gallon size suits larger jobs.

Presta Ultra Cutting Creme Light is a liquid abrasive polish from Presta, sold in a 1 gallon container. It is water-based and has no fillers, waxes or silicones. It is made to correct light swirls and paint imperfections.
How to use it
- Apply the compound to the painted surface with a dual-action polisher, or by hand.
- Work one section at a time to correct light swirls and imperfections.
- For this step, use a Presta Yellow Wool Buffing Pad, which Presta suggests.
- Follow with Presta Swirl Remover to finish the two-step process.
What else the job needs
