    This liquid marine wash is formulated with a hydroxyphenyl-triazine (HPT) UV absorber and aquatic safe surfactants, engineered to clean hull surfaces while supporting Gtechniq Marine Coatings.

    Why you'll want it

    • Lifts dirt with a gentle shampoo. Its shampoo slicks the grit so there is less rubbing on the surface, which helps keep the gloss looking good.
    • Made to work with Gtechniq coatings. It is designed to support Gtechniq Marine Coatings and to help the coating stay clear between full details.
    • Helps protect the UV layer on your hull. Used as your regular wash, it lifts surface grime and helps keep the UV protection that compatible coatings give.
    • A good wash before winter storage. In fall, use it as your regular wash to clear grime off the hull before the boat sits for the winter.

    What it is

    This UV hull cleaner from Gtechniq Marine comes in a 500ml size. Its UV absorber is a hydroxyphenyl-triazine, shortened to HPT, and it also has aquatic safe surfactants. It is made to work with Gtechniq Marine Coatings.

    How to use it

    1. Wait until the surfaces have cooled before you start.
    2. Shake well and wear gloves.
    3. Pour 8 capfuls of shampoo into a 20-liter (5-gallon) bucket.
    4. Fill the bucket with fresh water.
    5. Scrub each surface with the wash, using a Marine Microfiber Wash Mitt.
    6. Rinse well, then dry each surface with a Marine Drying Towel.
    7. Keep it somewhere cool and dry.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: gloves, a bucket, a hose, a Marine Microfiber Wash Mitt and a Marine Drying Towel, all named in the directions.
