    Panel Wipe is a blend of pure alcohols and solvents formulated to dissolve and remove polish residues, flashing off completely to leave a fully decontaminated paint surface.

    Product Description

    Why you'll want it

    • Removes polish residue from paint. It removes polish residue so a chemically bonding coating can form a strong bond with your paintwork.
    • Alcohol and solvent blend dissolves residue. Its blend of pure alcohols and solvents dissolves polish residue, then flashes off to leave a decontaminated surface.
    • Prep paint before fall haul-out. Fall haul-out is a good time to clean the paint first, so any coating goes on a clean surface.

    What it is

    Gtechniq Marine Panel Wipe is a paint-prep solvent from Gtechniq Marine, sold in a 5 liter (5L) container. It is a blend of pure alcohols and solvents that removes polish residue from paintwork before a coating is applied.

    How to use it

    1. Let the surface cool before you use it.
    2. Shake well and wear gloves.
    3. Spray it onto a microfiber buff cloth, then wipe the surface.
    4. Wipe the surface again with a dry microfiber cloth to check that no residue is left.
    5. Test a small area of paint first.
    6. Keep it in a cool, dry spot and use it within 2 months of opening.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: a microfiber buff cloth for spraying and wiping, a second dry microfiber cloth for the final wipe, and gloves, which the usage steps name.
