Its two-part formula is built to avoid the long flash times, pinholes, solvent trap, delamination, and solubility issues common to one-component chip guard products.

    The SEM 2K Urethane Chip Guard Kit is a job-sized, two-component, shake-and-shoot textured coating from SEM. It is made to reproduce a variety of OE textures and chip guard finishes. It comes as a 12 oz. mixed kit in opaque gray.

    How to use it

    1. Choose one of the 16 defined textures and follow its detailed instructions.
    2. Use the mix within its pot life of 20 minutes at 70°F and 50% R.H.
    3. Flash time is 0 to 20 minutes. Paint time is 20 minutes to 4 hours.
