Materials & Construction
Gtechniq Rinse-On Ceramic is a liquid ceramic coating that crosslinks directly to gelcoat, topcoat, glass, metal, ceramic, and Plexiglass surfaces. Applied during a regular rinse, it leaves behind an optically clear, non-yellowing, UV-repelling protective layer.
Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Protection comes with your regular rinse. You apply it during your normal boat rinse. The record says it can be used at every wash down, so each rinse can add protection.
- Stays clear, does not yellow. The formula is optically clear and non-yellowing, so it is made to keep your gloss looking clean over time.
- Helps shield gloss surfaces from sun. It is UV-repelling, which the record says helps gloss surfaces that sit in sun and water.
- Coat up before winter storage. Before the boat goes into winter storage, one application lasts up to 3 months, so the gloss has protection while it sits.
What it is
This 500ml refill is a liquid ceramic coating made by Gtechniq Marine. It is a rinse-on formula, so it goes on during your regular boat rinse. It bonds to gelcoat, topcoat, glass, metal, ceramic, and Plexiglass.
How to use it
- Insert the hose attachment and connect the hose. Rinse all surfaces well first.
- Turn the forward knob to start the coating flowing into the water feed.
- Work on an area no bigger than 10ft x 10ft (3m x 3m) at a time.
- When all surfaces are coated, turn the forward knob back to its original position and rinse all surfaces well.
- Dry with a Gtechniq Microfiber Drying Towel.
What else the job needs
Good to have on hand: a Gtechniq Microfiber Drying Towel, which the directions use to dry the boat after rinsing.
