    The RUPES HSE73 is a rectangular orbital mini sander that uses an 80 x 130 mm multihole rubber pad to pull dust into a vacuum system, delivering cleaner, more efficient sanding across wood, composite, and plaster surfaces.

    Why you'll want it

    • Pulls dust into a vacuum. The pad has many holes, so a vacuum can pull dust away while you sand. Connect a compatible vacuum system to keep the dust under control.
    • Works without a separate vacuum. Connect the patented RUPES GREEN TECH filter and the sander pulls its own dust. You do not need an outside extraction unit.
    • Battery or corded, same performance. Run it on the 18V battery, or insert the iBrid Power Adapter to run it on corded power. The record says performance is identical either way.
    • Ready for fall projects. Fall is a good time to sand wood and composite before winter, so your boat is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

    The RUPES HSE73 is a rectangular orbital mini sander made by RUPES. It uses iBrid Technology, the same power platform as the HLR75 iBrid Mini Polisher, and has five working speeds. Its specs list a 2mm orbit, 18V power and 7000/11000 RPM/min.

    How to use it

    1. Connect the HSE73 to a compatible vacuum system.
    2. Apply the pad to wood, composite, plaster, or other large surfaces.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: a compatible vacuum system for dust pickup, or the RUPES GREEN TECH filter for self-extraction. Pairs well with a battery charger made for the iBrid battery pack, and with the HLR75 iBrid Mini Polisher, which uses the same battery.
