    This is a random orbital mini sander featuring iBrid Technology and a Ø125 mm rounded multihole backing pad, designed to deliver energy-efficient sanding with a finer finish across wood, composite, plaster, and automotive surfaces.

    • A finer finish, sanded in less time. The random orbital movement gives a finer, more consistent finish and saves time compared to traditional sanders.
    • Dust control with or without a vacuum. Connect the Ø125 mm pad to a compatible vacuum system for dust extraction, or use the patented RUPES GREEN TECH filter to extract dust with no separate unit.
    • Battery or corded, same performance. Run it on the 18V battery for cordless work, or insert the iBrid Power Adapter for continuous corded use. The tool performs the same on either power source.
    • Get the sanding done this winter. Plan the sanding for the off-season, so your boat is ready when spring comes. Five working speeds and a soft start give you versatility on each job.

    What it is

    The RUPES HSR73 is a random orbital mini sander made by RUPES. It sands wood, composite, plaster and other surfaces, including automotive body panels, and it is built for body shops and similar work. Its iBrid Technology lets you run the tool on a rechargeable 18V battery or on corded power.

    How to use it

    1. Attach the right sanding disc to the Ø125 mm multihole backing pad.
    2. Connect a compatible vacuum system for dust extraction, or connect the patented RUPES GREEN TECH filter to extract dust without an external unit.
    3. For cordless use, charge the 18V 2.5Ah battery in the RUPES charger, which gives a full charge in about 35 minutes.
    4. For corded use, insert the iBrid Power Adapter.
    5. Use the throttle lever for variable speed, and the speed control dial to choose from five working speeds.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: a compatible vacuum system for dust extraction, sanding discs for the Ø125 mm pad, and the RUPES battery charger for the 18V battery. The iBrid Power Adapter is the item for corded use, and the patented RUPES GREEN TECH filter is the item for extraction without an external unit.
