    The RUPES HSS73 is a compact orbital mini sander featuring iBrid Technology and a delta-shaped multihole rubber plate that channels dust into a vacuum system for cleaner, more efficient sanding. Its shape and size let it access narrow or tight surfaces that larger sanders can't reach, resulting in a smoother finish with less cleanup.

    • Fits into tight, narrow spots. The delta-shaped pad reaches into corners and thin areas. Use it on shutters, drawers and chairs.
    • Pulls dust toward a vacuum. The multihole rubber pad is made for vacuum dust pickup. Attach a compatible vacuum to catch dust while you work.
    • Run it on battery or on a cord. Use the 18V battery for cordless work, or plug in the iBrid Power Adapter. The record says the results are the same either way.
    • Winter is good time for interior work. Cold months are a good time to sand the marine interior, so the boat is ready when spring comes.

    The RUPES HSS73 is a rectangular mini sander made by RUPES. It sands wood, composite, plaster and other surfaces. Its iBrid Technology lets you choose battery power or corded power.

    How to use it

    1. Fit the sanding pad that suits the job.
    2. Choose your power: the battery for cordless work, or the iBrid Power Adapter for corded work.
    3. Set the speed with the speed control dial. The record says it has five working speeds.
    4. Use the throttle lever for fine control.
    5. Attach a compatible vacuum extraction system to catch dust, or connect the RUPES GREEN TECH filter to run without an outside extraction unit.
