    Why you'll want it

    • Sands paint, primer and gelcoat. These discs are made for paint, putty, primer and gelcoat. They also work on wood and composite materials.
    • Dust comes off more easily. A stearate layer on the disc helps dust come off during sanding. That can mean less clogging on the paper.
    • Ceramic grain for long use. Ceramic grains on a tough PET (polyester) film backing are made for high efficiency and long life. They are ideal for dry use.
    • Get fall sanding done. October brings haul-out and winter storage. A box of 50 discs lets you do the paint and gelcoat work now, so the boat can be ready for spring.
