Product Description
Why you'll want it
- Ceramic grains for efficient cutting. Ceramic abrasive grains and a tough polyester film backing are made for strong grinding efficiency and a longer service life.
- Less clogging, better dust pickup. A stearate layer helps dust extraction and limits clogging, so the sheet keeps working longer.
- An even scratch pattern. The grain is spread evenly, so the sanding pattern stays consistent and controlled.
- Fall haul-out is a good time to sand. Use it on paint, putty, primer and gelcoat this fall so the surface is ready when spring comes.
What it is
The RUPES PROCUT Film Abrasive Sheet is a sanding sheet made by RUPES. Each sheet is 70 mm by 200 mm (2.75 by 7.8 inches) with 8 holes, in P220 grit. Grit is how coarse the abrasive is: a lower number is coarser and removes material faster. A box holds 100 sheets.
How to use it
- Use it dry, since the product is ideal for dry use.
- Start with the least aggressive grit that does the job.
- Step through finer grits in order, because skipping stages leaves scratches the next step cannot remove.
What else the job needs
Good to have on hand: other grits from this line, such as P320 and P180.
