    The RUPES iBrid Orbital Mini Sander STB Kit is a dual-power orbital sanding tool with a 70 x 198mm backing plate, letting you switch between cordless battery operation and continuous corded use for consistent, precise sanding results on large surfaces.

    Why you'll want it

    • Keep sanding without waiting on a battery. The iBrid Power Adapter gives you uninterrupted continuous operation. On battery, the 18V 2.5Ah pack runs up to 45 minutes.
    • Work stays clean and dust-free. A self-extraction system and the RUPES GREEN TECH filter help keep the work area clean while you sand.
    • Easy to move across big surfaces. The 70 x 198mm backing plate gives you good maneuverability and balance. The sander weighs 1.1 kg without the battery pack and power supply.
    • Good timing for fall prep. Fall is a good time to sand large surfaces before winter storage, so the boat is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

    The RUPES iBrid Orbital Mini Sander, model HSE73L, is made by RUPES. It has a 3 mm orbit and a 70 x 198mm backing plate. The STB kit includes the sander, a charger, a rechargeable power pack and a Green Tech Filter.

    How to use it

    1. Choose your power source. Run the sander on battery for mobility, or connect the iBrid Power Adapter for uninterrupted continuous operation.
    2. Attach the abrasive to the 70 x 198mm backing plate.
    3. Work in smooth, even passes across the surface for a consistent finish.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: PROCUT film abrasive sheets 70x200mm, which are designed for this sander. The iBrid Power Adapter is useful for continuous use, but it is not listed in the kit.
