    Why you'll want it

    • Less clogging, longer cutting. A stearate layer helps pull dust away from the disc and limits clogging. That helps the disc keep working on your surface.
    • A smooth, even scratch pattern. The disc has a uniform scratch pattern and an even grain spread, so your finish comes out consistent.
    • Made for paint, primer and gelcoat. It is ideal for dry use and works on paint, putty, primer, gelcoat, wood and composite materials.
    • Fall and winter prep for spring. Fall and winter are a good time to prep paint, primer or gelcoat, so your boat is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

    RUPES PROCUT Film Abrasive Discs are 150mm (6 inch) sanding discs from the maker RUPES. Each disc has 15 holes and P320 grit, and each box holds 50 discs. They use ceramic abrasive grains on a polyester (PET) film backing, and they are made for dry sanding.

    How to use it

    1. Start with the least aggressive grit that does the job.
    2. Step up through the finer grits in order, because skipping a stage leaves scratches the next stage cannot remove.
    3. Use the disc on dry surfaces.
