    Why you'll want it

    • Clogs less, cuts longer. A stearate layer helps pull dust away from the disc. That means less clogging and a longer working life for each disc.
    • Works on paint, primer and gelcoat. Made for paint, putty, primer and gelcoat. It also works on wood and composite materials, and it is ideal for dry use.
    • A steady, even scratch. The grain is spread evenly. That gives a consistent, controlled sanding pattern.
    • Good for fall prep, ready in spring. Fall is a good time to remove defects and refine surfaces, so the boat is ready for spring.

    What it is

    These are RUPES PROCUT film abrasive discs, 150 mm (6 inch) with 15 holes, sold in a box of 50 in P600 grit. They have a tough polyester (PET) film backing and a stearate layer that helps dust extraction.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: other grits from the same RUPES line, such as P320 and P800. Each grit is sold on its own product page.
