    • Finishes smooth for paint and coatings. The 6mm orbit is made for finishing with grade P320 and higher abrasives. It leaves a surface ready for paint and other coatings.
    • Finish the prep before winter. Fall is a good time to sand and prep for paint, so your boat is ready when spring comes.

    What it is

    This is the RUPES Skorpio III random orbital palm sander, a 150mm pneumatic model with a 6mm orbit and no vacuum. It takes air through a 1/4 inch GAS inlet thread. It has double row bearings for greater life and smoother operation, and it weighs 0.8 kg.

    What else the job needs

    Good to have on hand: abrasives in grade P320 or higher, the grades this 6mm orbit is made for. Pairs well with an air supply that matches its listed working pressure of 6,2/90 (bar/PSIG).
