    Why you'll want it

    • Sands paint, primer and gelcoat. Made for paint, putty, primer and gelcoat, and for wood and composite materials. Use them on automotive primers and paint, metals, plastics and composites.
    • Less clogging, cleaner sanding. A stearate layer helps pull dust away from the disc and limits clogging. The grain keeps its cutting ability even after long use.
    • Tough backing that resists tearing. The polyester film backing resists tearing and fraying, and the ceramic grains help the disc cut well.
    • Good prep work for spring. Fall is a good time to sand and prep paint or gelcoat over the winter, so the boat is ready when spring comes.

    RUPES PROCUT Film Abrasive Discs are 125mm (5 inch) sanding discs made by RUPES, with 17 holes and P180 grit. Each box holds 50 discs. The discs have a polyester (PET) film backing, which is the plastic sheet the sanding grain is bonded to.
